AI 편집이 들어오면 위험이 더 커집니다. AI는 피부 톤을 균일하게 만들고, 모공과 잡티를 자연스럽게 지우고, 질감을 부드럽게 만드는 데 매우 강합니다. 문제는 그 자연스러움이 소비자에게 “제품 효과”로 읽힐 수 있다는 점입니다. 이미지가 문구보다 먼저 인상을 만들기 때문에, 한 줄의 주의 문구로 방어하기 어려운 상황이 생깁니다.
실무에서 가장 많이 놓치는 부분은 동일 조건의 설계입니다. 촬영 조건의 동등성을 어떻게 증명하는지, 편집의 개입을 어디까지 허용하는지, 피부 표현을 강화하는 후처리를 어떻게 통제하는지가 기준으로 있어야 합니다. 기준이 없으면 마케팅은 성과를 위해 더 강한 이미지를 선택하고, 조직은 문제가 생긴 뒤에만 논쟁을 하게 됩니다.
전후사진 대신 안전하게 활용할 수 있는 방식도 있습니다. 피부 상태를 직접 비교하는 구조를 줄이고, 사용 경험의 맥락을 설명하는 방향으로 전환하는 것입니다. 제품의 특징, 사용 방법, 사용감, 관리 루틴에서의 위치를 설명하면 이미지가 ‘효과의 증거’가 아니라 ‘상황의 설명’으로 작동하게 됩니다. 물론 이것도 결국 사내 기준과 승인 기록이 남아야 합니다.
